Life in general for us all is like a rollercoaster. So a little about my ride so far ... In my 20s I found myself navigating PCOS, fertility challenges & enduring miscarriages, but I'm a super proud mum of 2 children today. Grateful for this blessing - I transitioned from an ambitious, career-oriented woman to a full-time stay-at-home mom for seven years to indulge in motherhood.

CraftSquared began from a personal passion during the lockdown. I couldn’t see family or friends to celebrate their milestone moments, like birthdays, new homes and new arrivals; so I created gifts that showed my love, thought and effort, capturing each special occasion in a personalised way. 

Those first scrabble frames sparked something much bigger than I’d expected. Soon the demand grew and what started as a heartfelt gesture for loved ones, turned into a business that brings joy to so many others.

In January 2023, we expanded our horizons and introduced CraftSquared Events; hosting birthday parties, craft workshops and baby showers - to corporate well-being workshops. I’ve had the privilege to work with fantastic people and some great companies, recently working on a large order for Marriott Hotels.

In the background, my mission is to raise awareness and challenge taboos surrounding hearing loss and hearing aids. I personally began experiencing gradual hearing loss in my early 20s, and at 38 today, I have moderate hearing loss in both ears. Many individuals silently endure this struggle, feeling isolated. I aspire that through open discussion, people can shed the shame or embarrassment associated with hearing loss, allowing them to fully embrace life.

I currently serve as a governor at my children's school, a voluntary role that allows me to contribute to the strategic direction and educational experiences for the 700 children in attendance. Driven by my passion to create vibrant, fun and memorable events for children, I also hold the position of PTA chair. I am fully DBS certified.
